Fr. Mike grew up in Florida and converted to Orthodoxy at Sts. Markella and Demetrios in Fort Walton Beach. He completed a BA in Religious Studies and Classics at FSU before attending seminary at Hellenic College Holy Cross, where he completed a Master of Divinity degree. He was ordained to the diaconate and then to the priesthood in September of 2020 and began his ministry at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral as a second priest and youth director.
He was transferred to Holy Trinity – St. John the Theologian in April, 2023 to serve as the presiding priest. He worked there over the last few years, helping to oversee repairs and renovations of the sanctuary and facilities among other endeavors.
He is married to his wonderful wife and two young children and looks forward to joining the St. Stefanos community and bringing his own children into the many ministries and educational opportunities available as he works to continue growing the youth ministries.
