Melissa Tsongranis has worked extensively with children and their families for over 30 years. She received her BA in Child Development from Sacramento State University as well as a post graduate credential in Early Childhood Special Education. She worked in the field of early intervention for over 10 years. During that time, she was actively involved with the summer camp ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco. She combined her passion for child development with her love of the Orthodox Church and was employed by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese for almost 20 years, helping to found the Center for Family Care. She lives in Tarpon Springs, Florida with her husband and their 13-year-old son.
