This ministry is for young men 8 years old and above to learn to love, respect, and serve God’s Holy Altar. Altar servers will learn the meaning of the Liturgical items and vestments used in the Divine Liturgy, how the parts of liturgy came into practice, as well as how to properly serve in the Holy Altar. For all services, please make it a point to arrive ten minutes before services begin so that we may prepare and pray together. In addition to attending church services, these young gentlemen will also participate in retreats and fellowship activities that will help them along their spiritual journey.

Music and singing are an integral part of worship in the Orthodox Church. The musical expression of our faith is lead by both Chanters and our Choir, yet all the faithful are encouraged to raise their voice in song during the services as was the ancient practice of the Church. New Members are always welcome!
Ministry Audience: All who want to lead the hymns of our Divine Liturgy
Choir Director: Angeliki Theoharis

“Sing praises to God; sing praises; Sing praises to our King; sing praises.” (Psalm 46:7) The musical expression of our faith is lead by both Chanters and our Choir, yet all the faithful are encouraged to raise their voice in song during the services. Byzantine Chanting uses a different notation and style than western music however it is equally as beautiful. If you are interested in joining this team, please contact Fr. Sampson.
Chanters: Anthony Velardocchia and Alexander Gregory
